Perhaps a dealer mechanic could help me out.
93 aerostar 3.0 - heater core was changed. The heater core is getting warm (top hose hot, bottom hose warm) and the fan motor is blowing - but only cold air - any ideas on how to diagnose.
Thanks

just from what you are saying, you could have an ait bubble in the heater core, especially if it is higher up than the radiator. Was it replaced by you, or a repair shop?Or it could be the waterpump not circulating properly, does the engine overheat?

thermostat stuck in open postion...engine runs only luke warm. A thermostat will usually rust out and the spring will force it open after 10 years.

I replaced the heater core my self, and also put in a new thermostat. How do I cure the air bubble problem?
Thanks for your help.
