i have a 95 tsi with lots ' crank walk :(...so i guess i need a new motor...i am new to the DSM scene and i was wondering if anyone had some recommendations...here is what i figure

1) i can put another 2G motor in

2) i can put a JDM 4G63 6 bolt

3) i can buy an old 1G motor, rebuild it and put it in

bascially i want it faster than stock, but nothing too crazy...it will mostly be used as a daily driver...what would be my best performance for the money option? also, anyone know of any good websites? (i already grabbed these 2 from other threads www.dsmtrader.com and www.jspecautosports.com) thanxs for the help!

Well, I just purchased a 1993 Eagle Talon ES FWD no turbo for $1100 USD. I think that unless you really want to mod your car out for racing (which many of us Eagle Talon and Mitsubishi owners love to do), it might be cheaper for you to look around for another one.

I used to own a 1993 Eclipse GS, I totally fell in love with that car - but I wrecked it in a 5 car pile up on an expressway (thanks to the guy smashing me from behind) but that was years ago... I always dreamed of getting another one - then my GMC jimmy decided to die. :)

Anyhow - look online at local car dealers to see how much they are running - if you are willing to spend $2500 on an engine - you could most likely get a whole new (used) car.
