Another small problem

I just want to confirm my thoughts. I have a 96 blazer 4.3 W.
I have found that when I am sitting with the vehicle running I get very little heat but when I am driving I get all the heat I can handle. I am thinking the heater core just needs flushed. I have had no other problems with the heating system. No smells no leaks and the radiator is full. :smokin:

Yep core could be blocked, time to do a complete flush and fill with new coolant. Flush the core separate, you'll be amaved the crap that comes out. Use prestones version of dexcool.

Well i finally got a few minutes to flush the heater core. While flushing it I noticed the sludge was thick and as soon as it came out the water shot out. It was great! After putting everything back together I let my car warm up and instant heat.
I will probably do it again when I have time to do the whole system.
Thanks for everyone's help and posts.
