will a LS motor fit directly into a 93 civic hatch, i mean no cutting welding or tucking anything, just a bolt in job. i gotta figure out how hard of a job it would be because in debating if i should drop it in myself. Also is a LS/vtec good for boost well is it better then an LS motor with no vtec. anything helps!

The motor won't just bolt in. you have to get motor mounts to bolt it in.
Plus you will need axles, shift linkage, ecu. Plus you need to make sure what model the motor is to make sure that your wiring harness will work.
Its not worth you trouble to tear the dash out the car to replace the wiring harness. Ls Vtec is a good motor for boost, my friend has one in a 96 civic. He got spanked by a gsr hatchback until he got his turbonetics t3/t4 turbo. I don't like head swap, the reason being i have a 94 hatchback that had a d15b8 with the head off of a d16y8. It upped my time 8 tenths in a 1/8 mile but was unreliable. the head gasket blew 3 times.
even after having the head shaved twice and new headbolts.
