1993 GA 4 cyl. Replaced starter and all appeared fine. Daughter drove the vehicle to school the next day, but it was dead when she tried to leave to come home. Turn key and get no dash lights, buzzers or anything. Could the reman starter be the culprit? If so, how do I check? Leaving work early right now to see if it will take a jump and maybe get it back home.

Sounds like alternator to me. But most auto parts stores will test your starter and/or altrenator and/or battery for free

Check the connections on the starter and battery that you disconnected
to put the new starter in. clean battery terminals and check voltage of battery should be 12V off and 13 to 15v running. Check ground connections and battery cables.
