Stupid high school kids

Thought I would throw this one in. I was with a friend of mine just north of Indianapolis, IN. We were on our way to go look at a Ferrari 550 for my friend. Yes, it's nice having friends with money, and he's only 24. Anyways, we were sitting at a stop light heading north, turning left. Some zit faced, crack-head looking high school kid heading south trying to show off to a friend he had in the car, was in a 95-96 Eclipse RS. Had the stock 14s with hubcaps, but it was a race car, painted lime green with fart pipe and a big aluminum wing (you know the ones you can buy at Autozone for $75. His light turned green and he took off. Don't know who he was trying to race, he was surrounded by minivans and suvs. We got to the dealership, was there maybe 5-10 mins walking around. They were already closed. Got back going south and wouldn't you know it. Sitting on the side of the road is a minivan, but in front of it, into a tree is the Eclipse. Guess the minivan won.

How do you know he was a high school kid? How do we know you arent a high school kid?
Just leave at a good wreck story and leave the little comments like its a high school kid out of it.
Just to clarify im not in high school, im in BCIT(like collage, but a technical school).

Geez man, calm down, it's just a story. Let's not start an argument over something so miniscule and meaningless, if you have something to add without ruffling feathers, great; if not then dont add anything.
Back on topic. Ive seen plenty of people that do that kind of thing(minus the hitting the tree part) and all I can do is sit there and laugh at how stupid they are.

Im perfectly calm, I just dont see what importance the age or level of education the driver had has anything to do with the fact that he went off the road.
But yes back on topic.
I know a guy who has.. well had a 1990 Mazda RX7 Turbo Vert, and he was riping around a corner and he lost his brakes, he went flying off the corner and som how managed to hit a tree 10feet in the air. I had pics and a video of it but i dont anymore.
The video is just a small clip, its him coming to the corner, and then you hear him say NO BRAKES and then it goes all choopie and then black.
Everyone was ok tho.

I know when I see someone in a riced out car driving like an ass, I don't usually picture a 55 year old woman in a business suit :dunno:
The funny thing about stereotypes, is that even though they're not always true, they usually started for a reason. Sorry if that offends anyone, but it's true. I'm white, and I can't dance or play basketball for crap

i'm surprised it didnt have the stripes on it that gives it 5 at the wheels, and generally speaking age does deal with driver ability, cause generally the longer you drive the better you are at it.

took the words right out of my mouth. age does have a lot to do with it
i can drive a whole lot better now then when i was in highschool. usually young people because of experince can't drive very well. let alone they just got done with there diving test that they scored a 82 on lol.

But they THINK they're good drivers, and nothing can convince them otherwise. How many times have you seen some kid think they know it all about racing?

but playing Devil's Advocate, I have to say. There are a few students from HS that can drive well and better that most adults. They are few and far between, but still. Some people train in thier cars every chance they get so they can get better and better all the time. I do wish that people wouldn't get general stereotypes(although that is impossible)
