according to what you see above... i'm planning to do the drowsy headlights, a custom Wing (scratch built from a mini 4x4 tamiya), and the body kit (made from automotive body filler :grinno: )
it was originaly coated with light silver then white before but i'm still thinking of a new color...
Ineed Help with the ff...
*What Color?
*What wheels?
*Front Bumper ref (easy ones)
*Engine layout/reference
*Headlights flipup structure

Here's a little update on my rx7...
The rollbars are made out of wires soldered together since i didnt have any excess rollbars
and the stock mazda Brake Discs were Replaced with Brembo out of the R34. Driver's Seat are from the R32 Passenger seat, but i will replace those if i find better ones. Removed half of the rear passenger seats, plan to add those fuel coolers n stuff... As for the engine i have no idea where to get a radiator with a fan... but will add on a BOV and some details later on, maybe try that vmount thing... Plan to open the hood but i dont know how and where to start. Headlights are almost done... just need to figure out how to do the lamps. Its going to be Either Black, Metallic Dark Green, or Mettalic Dark Blue or any other Dark color. As For the wheels, i might use the same ones but without the nismo decals.
As Of 02.04.04 (http://www.geocities.com/amuyag/arx7.html)
Feedbacks/Comments and Help are Appreciated

That's very nice, especially the engine ! The white rims suit very well.
I have the same problem with the headlights, i want some covered ones, but i don't know where to start.

This is looking really great man. paint them rims gold and put a huge
dish on them, and you got yourself a good beggining of the Apex D1
car. I really like the way you did the rear bumper, Can you share how
you went about doing it?

might want to consider straight exhaust piping to the muffler. better flow, more power&torque! drift cars usually have about a 2.5''-3.5'' exhaust piping from the turbo back to the muffler.

Hehe... I dunno where to get me some rims...
I used the Apexi D1 Rx7pics as a reference i extended the rear bumpers wheel well portion downwards by 3mm i think, but maintained the stock height of the rear bumper's lip. also shaved that stock diffuser part under the bumper, I'll try to get pics after i get my pc up & running again... i'm using the school's pc's ryt now :grinno:
I resoldered the rollbars and added a center part then painted it black. Made a BOV, i'm looking for a nice decent size turbo altho the 34's turbo's are too large that i might just make one, i might be able to pull off a scratch built radiator and fan. Body might be painted this week or the next... really short on cash after buying an esc for my r/c.
tnx guys
