AWD vs FWD reliability?

I'm getting a 2G turbo DSM soon and I was concerned about the reliability of AWD. How much power can the driveline take without crapping out a differential or what not? That would be damn expensive to fix. Could it take 350hp consistently or would I have to take it easy on it? Would FWD take more and would it even have the traction to put 350hp to the ground?

AWD vs FWD the age old question :) With AWD there are, of course, more parts to break. 2G AWDs seem, repeat seem, to be more prone to crankwalk. However, FWD can get it too. FWD will have traction problems especially if you plan on having 350HP. Its really a matter of personal preference, go and test drive each and see what you like. I will recommend AWD, its great in any weather and launches like crazy but I'm a little biased :P

actually it depends more on what you want.

if you are going to drag race then id say awd.
but if your gonna just drive around and say hey wut up then id go for the one that doesnt have as many parts to break.

also fwds have a faster top end then awds.

AWD = FAST START AND SLOWER ACCELLERATION AT HIGHER SPEEDS
FWD = SLOWER START(due to less traction) AND HAVE A FASTER ACCELERATION AT HIGHER SPEEDS

fwd = street race
