Hey, this is my first time at this site. I bought a stock, 5 speed 96 gs eclipse a couple months ago and I've been having some problems with it ever since.. After I get that stuff fixed, I want to try and add more power to it. I want to get a turbo kit and all that good stuff.. Just to let you all know, I am a huge newb when it comes to cars. :disappoin I would like to hear from everyone about what I should do first, it would be greatly appreciated. I don't have a WHOLE lot of money, but I'm trying to save up so I can put it into my car. Links would help me out also. Thanks.

I wanna be able to beat anything.. Ricers. Civics. Stangs. My friend has a 97 GT mustang, except he got pulled over for burning out. He said his dad is going to sell it and he'll have to buy his own car when he can get the money. His car has an air intake and flowmaster.. It was pretty fast. I'd like to be able to beat it, if he gets to keep it. But I'd also like to be able to keep up with, or beat camaros and other stangs. If I can beat domestics, I'm sure I can beat imports :smokin:

Not many people giving me suggestions. I just want some people to post some suggestions on what I should do. I know not to go overboard on my car. I've seen some people's mod lists here, which just sounds rediculous. Just a few links will help me out. Thanks.

Modding a car isnt something to take lightly. Lots of research should be done, and dont trust everything you read in forums ;) We are always willing to answer questions, but its not our job to give you a list of parts to buy. Do some research, and plenty of questions will pop up in the process. Anything you cant find answers to, by all means post here. We'll be glad to help.
