1991 3.4l grand prix

when pressing the gas my car bucks, it accelerates when on the gas then when still holding it in the same position it wants to idle then it goes back to accelerating. it does it repeatedly as long as you are on the gas. I replaced the harness to the tps and the tps itself.

if the car is in park and I accelerate it does not do it and it does not do it if I powerbrake it. it does it at all throttle positions except for around about 0-5% throttle.

would the egr cause this kind of problem??

That is hesitation. Remeber that when idling the car is not doing any force just reving the engine. When the car is under load then a faulty/clogged intake system air/gas could cause this kind of behaviour. Did you checked the fuel filter and fuel presure at the injectors?

that was the next thing that I was going to check.

btw when I started the car cold then turned it off after a min I could hear the fuel pump still running after I had gotten out.

That is normal, but not for a extended period of time tought...
