Depends how large of a shot of N2O you inject. If you inject about 100 shot, you should get 110-120hp probably because it compliments the supercharger. You should get an intercooler too for even more effect! hehe

By the way, I'm in Melbourne too! Melbourne Florida!

are you spraying nitrous into the intake as an intercooler? or onto an intercooler... you can do both, it's effective either way...

the cooling effect of the nitrous is similar to using a water injection system, but with the nos you get the added bonus of the extra power...

the nitrous will chill the incoming air, as well as increase the compression in the cyl as there is more o2 in there... so it will add boost as well as power... the thing to note though, is that nos makes the exh gas reallllllly hot, and anything over 1100 degrees f will melt pistons, and with that much power w/nos and s/c, you can do it quick...

so do it right and it'll work...
what kinda s/c and which motor is in that car? is it a 5.0?

if u have a "dry" kit basically u drill a hole into your intake just before the throttle body and mount the nozzle there. mount your bottle, run the lines, mount the solonoid, then mount your arming swith and activation swith. a lot of modern kits have a throttle pressure activation switch instead of a button u can push though. in which case u will need to hook into a vacuum pressure sensitive fuel regulator (if u have one, most modern cars do) the kit should come with install instructions that will guide u through, "dry" kits are pretty simple.

wouldn't you want to take your intake manifold off? if you drill with it still installed, i would imagine that you would run a pretty good chance of getting metal chips and slivers into the cylinders.

yeah if u were drilling it into your manifold u would, but i was referring to the kits that put the nozzle in the intake tube after the air filter but before the throttle body. itd probably still be a good idea to take it off though. good point.
