please don't flood me with e-mails. lowesthosting.com has been great EXCEPT this is now the 2nd yr in a row they didn't contact me to renew. as soon as i sign off here i'll get on the phone and bitch. i'm sure it'll take 24-48 hrs from them to have it up and running again (just like last year :rolleyes: ).

so, if you go to the site and it says site address unknown: don't panic. take a deep breath...it'll be back soon. there is no need to e-mail me. that is unless you feel the need to tell me how great i am :smokin:

i called and found out it wasn't them...it was the place that had the domain name. apparently it didn't auto-renew for the whooping amount of $7.95 because the expration on my card was up in '03. site will be back up shortly

and john...most of those places don't want to off a free service with the traffic the site has, the huge consumption of bandwidth. lowesthosting.com is the best deal out there for unlimited bandwidth usage....they are $4.95/month. included in the deal is a free dot.com domain name but i had already been with the other place. long story short there has to be a wondow of time i'm not with the dot.com place before lowesthosting can pick up the name. it's worth $7.95/yr to not take the chance of somebody swiping up the name during the switching downtime.
