could anyone help me; i want to wire my headlights so that they come on when i turn on my car, like many other cars do. i'm sure it's not too complicated, i just don't know where to start and i can't find anything online. any help or places to go would be appreciated.

Cars that have those lights are wired for daytime running lights which American Accords do not have. From what I know about electrical engineering (which I admit is not much) you would have to hook up some sort of lower voltage connection (assuming that the bulbs you have are able to illuminate on two settings, which I doubt)

I'm not exactly sure how complicated a process like that would be, but I doubt its really worth it. You'd probably be better off investing in someting else :2cents:

to be honest i'm pretty intent upon doing this. my girlfriend's car does this and the bulbs don't have 2 settings, they just go on and off with the car. does anyone know how to wire it to my ignition or where i could find this out (i've had some issues just messing w/ my electrical system and won't just go on gut anymore haha)thanx

use a relay...

wire it up so that when the ignition comes on, it triggers the headlights. you would prolly burn bulbs out much much faster doing this though.

check this out...
