Why would you buy a wet kit and only run a 55 shot?
Unless you mean your getting a dry fogger. There are a few rules to follow to get "longevity"
1. Never spray more than half of the engines poweroutput.
2. Never activate below 3000rpms
3. Never let your engine lean out
and
4. Never use it to just pass people on the highway.
Your engine should be able to handle a 55 without a massive risk of breaking.
But, when I say "longevity" I mean that it will last longer than if you don't follow these rules. However a non-linear shot like most systems that give you an instant 55(or whatever) are very stressful on a drivetrain. Your engine will not last as long as you would like with a non-linear shot.

If your getting the run of the mill $500 kit its not a wet system.
A linear shot means that for example at 3000rpms a 30 shot gets introduced then it slowly gets larger with rpm. At 3500 rpm you have a 35 shot at 4000 you have a 40 etc etc etc. Its like boost from a turbo spooling up. Its much less stressful for the drivetrain.

Yeah, I went to look and saw it but I wanted more info as to how the system is designed, but I couldn't find any info on the kit.

You'll be fine. Wet kits, since they mix with the fuel before the chamber are easier to manage and you can adjust fuel to match n2o, and 55 isn't that big for such an application.

I would say you would have no problem for a long time. Think about it like this-
i have a buddy with an 88 hf crx with a 2nd gen. b16a and a t3/t4 custom turbo kit. With only an SAFC Apexi he was boosting 10psi all day long.Keep in mind he had no motor work done and was running mid-low 13's all day long on some azenis. He drove this car for about 2 years daily driven from mojave to la almost 6 times a week, plus the races on sat. nights and the occasional LACR runs.
if he can run 10 pounds of boost for a lil more then 2 years driving like the maniac he is, there would be no problem if you squeezed every now and then to your motor.

Install a progressive controller and that will solve that problem. it will also keep whell spin to a minimun.
