FIRST OF ALL I THINK THIS SHOULD GO TO THE HOW TO SECTION!!!!!
HERE IS A WEBSITE IN WHICH YOU COULD GET ANY CUSTOM LICENSE PLATE IN THE UNITED STATES YUP ALL CUSTOM YOU CAN EVEN THE TYPE OF LICENSE PLATE. YOU PICK ONE OUT TYPE WHAT YOU WANT IT TO SAY.THEN YOU RESIZE IT AND PRINT THEM OUT AND PRESTO CUSTOM LICENSE PLATES. WHEN YOU RESIZE IT RESIZE IT IN YOUR PICTURE PROGRAM SUCH AS PAINT, PHOTOSHOP, ECT.... TRY TO HAVE IT IN SIZE ABOUT 56 IN WIDTH AND 30 IN HEIGHT (ROUGH ESTIMATE) THATS IN PIXELS BE SURE TO HAVE IT IN PIXELS NOT INCHES OR CM OK AND SORRY ABOUT THE UPPERCASE MY KEYBOARD IS SCREWED UP.....

I think typing your whole post in upper case is a :nono:
Upper case is considered shouting, I am certain we can all hear you fine :p
You don't mention anything of how to resize the licence plate to fit your model, that would be a 'How To' in my opinion, the website link on its own is only half the distance ;)

I already tried that website a long time ago but I never found a way to resize correctly the plate...it was to blurry I was not able to keep the quality. I could not even read my plate!

Just do the right thing and go to www.jbot.ca and buy his stuff. He's got blank plates for every state and canadian province along with all the letters and numbers, so you can make your own plates.

i recently have been creating Custom plates but in the european style for my cars (in my personal plate tho). its sooooo easy in photo shop 7.
first measure the size of your prefered plate (generaly the one tamiya supply you) in mm.
start a new page in photoshop. create a custom size page and select the values to MM.
type in the mm value. at this point i multiply the value by 10 so that 21mm becomes 210mm for example. this way the text is easier to get looking right.
i change the background to a vivid yellow for rear plates and the front to white. Then i add the text.
i also using the blending properties use the bevel and emboss function to create a small faded border around the edge. also set the shaddow to top dead centre to get an even shaddow.
then resize the image back to the origional mm values and rejig the border so that it looks good.
I then in the print options set it to print at 100% scale and print out onto high quality photo card. then using superglue (CA) affix it to the plasic tamiya plate (painted yellow or white!).
TA DA, your own sexy number plate.
