Hi Anyone, My 1999 GR Marq interior lights and head lights, if auto switched on, randomly turn on. They killed my battery before I figured it out. I replaced the lighting module under the dash. :screwy: That seemed to reduce the frequency but it is still doing it. I have removes the headlight switch assy and it still does it. Removing the light module stops it. Thanks George

My car is doing the same thing. did you find the answer to why they are coming on. I think that it has to do with the remote keyless entry.

My 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis has the same problem. Did you mean that you replaced the light control module circuit boards or did you just unplug them? How many boards are in the LCM? The light processor is 311.00 from the dealer. Where did you get it for 25 bucks??

I have a 2000 Grand Marquis doing the same thing. It killed one battery before I even knew the lights were acting up. What does an LCM look like? $25 at a boneyard seems ideal. Thanks.

I had a simular problem on a 1997 Grand Marquis. It was fixed under warrenty. The problem was the keypad in the drivers door.
