not running smooth

I would be very grateful if someone would be able to help me, I am driving a 1994 mitsi mirage mivec and it keeps missing sometimes if it is idling and you rev it up it misses realbad and does it sometimes when u r driving around I was told it was the fuel filter and then the spark plug leads I replaced them but it still does it, thankyou

hey man check ur timing, get some fuel injector cleaner. and be happy u have a MIVEC motor man :biggrin:

on hondas, at least, it might also be the dist. cap, rotor, and s/p wires.
check them out. dist cap should be changed around 60k, along with the rotor. Wires I'm not so sure of, but if they look pretty old, you may want to change them too. Get oem. Dunno about Mits, but on Hondas, they can be picky as heck.
