78 911 fuel pump

my friends parents have a 78 911 turbo and its fuel pump is gone

its an inline fuel pump and I was wondering if an after market non-application specific pump from holley would work as long as its another in line pump?

It will either be twin Mechanical fuel pump or Bendix type electric fuel pump where weber carbs are used.

I personally would stick with porsche, or a similier after market version.
