EG6 Suspension

Hello I'm new at this but I really need a question answerd, any at all help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1993 Honda civic Si HB which I am tuning for SCCA autocross. I Recently bought A liner wound suspension kit from tokico. Normal set up with a standard 1 1/2 inch drop. I am currently saving up for Black racing PRO N1 16 INCH rims (16 inch to clear AEM big brake kit). I havent decided on what tires to go with because I am concerned with size. My Last Civic could barely tuck 205/50/15 without some rubing at high cornering. I would love to be able to use BF goodwrench g-force t/a kd's, in a 225/50/16. Because they would be the best D.O.T approved all weather tire (except snow).

So my question is will 225/50/16 fit a EG6 with a 1 1/2 inch drop? without rubing the rear to shreds... or grindind the front.
(Keep in mind the Black Racing PRO N1 has a +45 offset.)
I wish I didnt have to run 16 inch rims but the AEM big brake kit won't clear 15's.

ALSO: I am thinking about setting a car up for drifting and I cannot find a 1985-87 rwd gts(4age) corola or 240 SX anywhere. So I am thinking about striping a 1983-1985 MK2 supra/celica most likely 1985 GTS supra... And using it for drifting. I know the 2.8 5mge or 22r are decent motors and the independendent rear LSD can be easily modified with a tocoma off road LSd. But My question is, is the MK2(1985 supra GTS/GT) a good drift car? WHY and WHY NOT?

PLEASE any Help would be apprecieated on those two questions.

NO RICE HATERS!!! I race SCCA DSP 1! no TRD stickers on my honda or wings that look like they belong on a airplane. I am serious I know alout about SCCA and drag but little about Drifting just wanting to get into it.

Just some insight, should be similar with your situation.

A good friend of mine has a '98 EX coupe, and has 16x7 size Volk Racing TE-37's on it. He's currently running a set of Advan DNA GP tires on it (they aren't technically DOT/street legal even though they are exactly like Yoko ES100's in appearance but made with R-compound rubber instead) and where he got them from only sells them in the size of 215/45 16 as they have to be imported over from Japan. He has some minor rubbing issues when turning with them. They easily rub the inside of the front wheel wells when turned more than 3/4ths of the way. His suspension setup is Neuspeed sport springs over Koni Yellow shocks if that tells anything as far as ride height on them.

My front fender plastic is removed the only front rubbing problems I have ever had with my old 2000 si was under extreme cornering. I thought the offset would easily correct the problem but I have heard that the HB Civics are notorious for rear rubbing esspecially exiting the apex. I also have an Eibach anti-roll kit I know it will help(A little). Do you think 215/40/16 would be more effecient? I can get some hoosier A3SO3 in that size but they wouldn't be at all road friendly. Any other tire ideas?

Yokohama ES100s or Falken Azenis sports. The Yokos have great wet weather handling capabilities, and the Azenis sports is one of the stickiest street legal tires one can get.
