Headlights

I recently replaced my headlights with HID white bulbs. They were working fine for about a month and today I go to turn them on and they were both out. The parking lights work fine and so do the brights. Question is: Could I have just blown a fuse or are both lights just junk? I am probably going to just put my originals back in to check whenever I have time, but I am wondering if its just the fuse or something else. Thanks in advance.

Also, if it is the lights, does anyone know of any good HID bulbs that last?
