USDM ayc acd conversion

Is it possible to take the AYC and ACD components out of a non-us spec Evo8 and swap it into the us spec?? I know that there would be ALOT of money involved, but im just curious. Has anyone ever done it?

haven't seen anyone do it b4, but i would rather have the 6 speed tranny than the us 5 speed.
