LS frankenstein ??

What exactly is a LS frankenstein, can anyone explain a little more in depth as to what this is. I didn't understand the brief description in the faq section. Also how good is this mod ? I have a 95 LS and was wondering why I might do this instead of just buying a gsr. Thanks : )

its simply an ls/vtec motor. take either a b18a or b18b block and drop a b18c1 or b16a head on there.

it's a strong motor w/ good lowend torque (from the ls bottom) and then the strong VTEC top-end.

u'd be faster w/ an ls/vtec than a gsr (if u do it right,) but u also have the option of turbing the ls. but then again...u could go ls/vtec turbo...blah blah blah. PM me if u have any other q's.
