MR BODY KIT.com and CONCEPTDESIGNZ.com

I would like to post a negative.

I placed an order from Mr. Body Kit on December 30th. for a Mustang Cobra X9 front end. They state on their website that all orders are processed within 3-5 days.

On the 6th of January, I attempted to contact them via phone and there was a message that indicated that their phone had been disconnected. When I looked on both www.mrbodykit.com and www.conceptdesignz.com, there was no message or notification indicating that their phones were down.

I wrote an e-mail to them indicating that if they didn't contact me immediately, I would submit a charge back. When they received the e-mail they were very rude in the manner in which they replied and stated that if I submitted a charge back that it would be considered theft, even though they hadn't even shipped the item.

We went back and forth via e-mail about what their policies say verses what they really mean. Bottom line is that the shipping information listed on their site is in accurate. They indicate that it takes them 3-5 days before they process and ship your order, then it takes 7-14 days for the item to arrive. When they replied to me via e-mail they stated that it actually takes 7-14 days before they ship the item.

As of today, it has been 13 days and it took them 11 days before they even shipped the item which was on Friday, January 9th, 2004. That is exactly 11 days after the original date of order. When I threatened a charge back again, they threatened me back saying that it would be considered theft and I hadn’t even received the product.

Bad Service, Bad Business

I would strongly detour anyone from doing business with this company on the internet.

I had looked at the site and really liked the setup. Thanx for the info, cause me or someone else could have bought a kit from there. Let us know if/when you get your kit.

Yeah, the site looks okay to the average user, but I am a web developer and it really isn't made all that well. The flash intro is amateur at best. I could have done that part of it blind.

The site map is very poor and they make it difficult to find answers to specific questions on the forum. Good to hear feedback. I would hate for another person to under go the torture I have had to deal with.

Keep the faith and buy from someone else...

I checked it out too! Any one know who else might sell the verical door kits? They seem very exspensive for a couple of fancy hinges!!!! :eek:
