Will not start while hot

I am working on a 1993 2 door chevy blazer, Engine size 350, throttle body. My problem is: that it starts great when it is cold. After letting it run and heat up to normal operating tempature, then shutting it off and trying to restart it just goes click. So if I let it sit and cool for a couple hours I can restart. I looked in the manual. They said to check engine ground, coil, and vapor lock. I have changed the coil, and inspected coil wires, and not seen any physical damage. I inspected the engine ground wire. I found one that was broken (well broke when I tugged on it slighty). I replaced damaged wire, and cleaned the other remaining grounds. I had a shop check the engine codes for me, found engine coolant sensor was bad, so I changed, but still not the problem. I am gettting ready to tackle vapor lock situation, and not really sure what to do. The manual says that it it the result of a blocked fuel vent line. I was wondering how I could test this to be sure. Also, any ideas on anything else that may cause this problem, or any suggestions on what to do next? If any extra info needed plz let me know. my 94 did this exact same thing last summer...ended up being the fuel pump and found out later that the long rang problem was the fuel sending unit

My 94 K5 intermittently refuses to crank over when it is hot after being driven for a while. It just clicks but doesn't turn over. I don't see it being a fuel problem since the starter would crank whether there was a good fuel supply or not. My local mechanic was unable to reproduce the problem but found that everything appeared to be in good order. He suggested it was either the ignition or the alarm system (I have a dealer installed Goodwrench alarm with the ignition cut-off in the event of the alarm being triggered). If it happens again I intend disconnecting the alarm from the ignition and shorting it out with the paper clip I got from my mechanic in order to tie-break between the alarm and the ignition. Sounds hokey at first but actually makes sense. I'll keep you posted.

The starter is shot and is overheating.

Change the starter.
