EGR sensor location?

:rolleyes: I have a problem with this blazer I just bought a 93 the engine has been replaced out a unknown vehicle it is a vortec 6 cylinder. I cant find the EGR valve everyplace people tell me to look it is not there? Please Help Im Flustrated.

there are two types of 4.3l vortec motors that could be in your truck. one is a multiport the other is a tbi.if it is multiport the egr could be located in two places one is on the intake manifold on the passenger side the other is in the back of the head on the drivers side. not to sure on the tbi it could be on the passengersid of the intake manifold like most small block chevy's or it could beon the driver side of the exaust manifold. try those spots
