My grandma had died a couple of months ago and she left her car to me its a 91 grandAM with a little over a 100,000 miles on it. Her will had to go through the courts and the car hasnt been driven in 3 months and it wont start the light used to stay on when i would get in the car and pretend to drive it so i believe the battery is dead. this is my first car and i was wondering if any had anything that could help me with my little problem thanks

Sorry to hear about your grandma. The battery as you suggest is most likely dead. Common problem for a car that sits for 3 months. Most likely all you need is to re-charge your battery. Anyone in your family own a battery charger? If not there are garages that will charge it but you may be better off buying a new battery. When you replace it or charge it up make sure to check and see that you didn't leave your dome light on your car when you were sitting in it pretending to drive.

I would say to take it to a parts store like auto zone or advanced auto or whatever you have by you. have them check it, and if its bad then buy a new one but remember to take the dead one where ever you go to buy the new one b/c you will get something like 10 bucks off the new one.
