Hi,
I've read until I'm blind and searched with no luck... I need help with a problem I suspect is the keyless entry module on my 95 GTP. A short history:
One day the interior lights wouldn't go out. Was pouring rain so I just pulled the fuse and put it off until better weather. A few days later the problem is gone.
Months go by, now the problem is back with a twist... when you close the doors, the auto-dimming interior lights go out as they should, but as soon as they go all the way out the lights in the rear of the doors and the maps lights in the mirror come on!!! They aren't as bright as they should be. At the same time, the PDLs don't work when the car is turned on/off and the PWs are erratic. The only place I can find in the wiring diagram that all these systems intersect is the keyless.

My questions:
Can anybody give a second opinion?
Is this the module under the pass side carpet @ the rear of the glovebox?
I've searched all over the net for parts lookup and found no reference to this part, but my local Pontiac dealer has shown by his actions that he doesn't care if I spend my money there... so it's now up to the lowest bidder, assuming I can find a part number!

Sorry about the longwinded post, but my wife is ready to divorce me if I can't get this one fixed.
Thanks in advance.

Well, I can tell you that the module that you mentioned is supposed to be the BCU(Body Control Unit) and the keyless entry is part of this system. Looks like the BCU went north so is better to replace it and there is a site on the net where you get GM dealers to send you offers. The url is http://www.worldparts.com and then there you can post your part request with your VIN number...

I guess I'll go ahead and replace it. Stupid question, but can someone tell me the location? I've only got an aftermarket manual and it doesn't give me a clue as to where it is.
