I've always liked the new infiniti G35 sedan aswell as the coupe. I was suprised to see that fujimi acutally made the g35 coupe, which is knonw as teh skyline 350 gt in japan. The point is that it's basically an infiniti g35 coupe and my plan is to convert this coupe into the g35 sedan. Now most people perffer trhe coupe over the sedan because of its nature, but i happen to love sedans-partically the ek-9 civic sedan.
the actual kit mad by fujimi is well replicated by i've notice that it's out of scale compare to other models made by fujimi. ....actually my new STi is also out os scale compare to other models such as the civic. WTF!!!!! my g35 coupe has equal lengths with my sti. ???
but..I like the rear of the g35 coupe and will incorparate it into the sedan. Since the model itself is overscale, i won't have to worry about a tiny sedan next to my models. The plan is erase the normal doorl lines with putty and then crave in 4 doors on the model. Hopefuly the end product will resemble the infiniti g35 sedan/ skyline v35 (Japanese model) with rear of a g35 coupe.
what do you guys think of this project?http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=6611

Sounds like a good project. Good luck with it, and when you get some pics, post them up.

Sounds interesting, and I also thought about that conversion. However, rescribing the door panels won't make you the sedan, since none of the body panels are shared between the sedan and coupe. The height is noticiablly different, and you can easily tell by looking at the window size. The chassis and interior are useful though.

yeah, I was just about to point that out. you'll need to scratchbuild an entire roof. but good project, could always say chop-top!
