Blower control location?

Can someone point me to the blower control module, and tell me what it looks like?

The factory service manual doesn't show it on any diagrams. The replacement procedure indicates that it is under the passenger side dash, near the blower motor and HVAC programmer.

It is located on on the passenger side up under the dash. You can get to it by removing the black kick panel (2 screws, 7mm socket located in front). Once you remove them the panel will drop down so you can remove the light by turning the light socket counter-clockwise a quarter turn. The panel now easily come out. The module is located near the front. You'll see a black box (front-left, up by the firewall). On the right side of this black box you'll notice some electrical connections. I believe the wire colors are red, black, and gray. there are 2 screws located above the wires. Remove them (5.5mm socket) and then you can pry the unit out of the black box with a screw driver. Don't attempt to remove the wires until the unit is out of the black box. Much easier to disconnet after out. The GM part# is 52470336 (see attached photo). GM dealer wanted $102.00 for the part and not in stock. I purchased from:

Hello There I Just Changed The Same Thing On My 98 Aurora I Found The Part For 35.00 At A Place Called Morads Parts Located Off West 140 Street Cleveland Ohio Brought It Home Put Everything Back Together Works Great Now I Have A Blower Again This Place Takes Cars From Ins Jobs Strip Them All Down Completly And Places Stuff On E Bay Hope This Helps You Save A Few Bucks
