Engine will not start

i just installed a new KA24DE and there is no power going to the distributor. i have tried 2 different distributors and same thing happens. What could be the problem and how do i correct it?

Check all of your electrial connections, there is a problem somewhere, and the circuit is open. Does the car have power anywhere? Do the interior lights work? If you dont have one, invest on a decent multimeter...it is very handy for this.
