Tokyo Extreme racer 3

What do u think of this game.I have it for PS2.I'm like 85% done.The game is much beter than Zero.My first ride was an old school Rx7.Now I ride a newer version RX-7.It has a full Carbon Fiber Body Engine 9 and an intercooler.Took of the wing for less wieght and normal rims.The car is pretty fast allways hits 210+MPH when racing. Handling is good too.I've got almost 5Million Dallars.

Man, this game is sooooo good, i own the first one for the Dream Cast, and i knew it would be good.
I started with a Toyota Chaser, and now i have a 475Hp Supra, i just beated that Dejected Angel and now i am wanting a R-34 or a R-33. Wangan racing is too cool for school!

i started with the s14, but as soon as the FD3S(RX-7) was availble i jumped on that. it is fully modded, with everything including swapped motor, Turbo Boxer 6:D

anyway ive beaten everyone in the game, i only have about 30 wanderers to go, but i only have 10million bux.

I justed got finised playing and i beat the midle city!!I have about 40 or so wanderers to beat and 10% to beat the game!! I thought i would never beat the bosses since there so hard,but i tried and i beat them.I now have 9.9million dallars.

yea on my RX-7 i had to get 1250miles on my Odometer to unlock the engine swap section. when you do this spend the money on the Turbo Inline 6!

you cannot beat thisg ame with a Gameshark, actionreplay, or codebreaker, just a fyi, and the gameshark has to be v2
its not because it is impossible, it is because it takes 100,000,000CP to make Windy Fanfare appear. The games maximum is 99,999,990

cool thanks for the tips I think i have 1150 miles on odometer.What kind of engines are there in engine swap .I really don't want to change my 13B engine in my RX-7.Are there any beefed up versions of the 13B(Biger Turbos and stuff). I have about 40 wonderers left.

yea there are plenty of new motors to choose from including a turbo rotary, but the biggest HP and TQ gains are from the turbo inline 6.

and Jeff, its not 1242, because when i got to 1242, i exited the stage and it was not avail. same thing in TXR0, it was 1250 before the added engine swap thing became avail.

I've unlocked quite a few cars, started with the FC3S (RX7-Infini). I swapped over to Dejected Angel's car when I beat him/her/it. So far, thats been my best car. I've unlocked a Pantera and a Viper, and there is a badass viper that is wiping his ass with me, but I'm going to keep trying. I know when you go through originally, You will look like you are almost done, and then, all of a sudden, there is a shitload more cars to race/beat. I think it's pretty fun. I don't see how y'all have that much money saved up just getting to Dejected Angel, as it took every bit of money that I had just to make my car capable of beating DA's car. I think I have ~150K right now. Nothing really to spend money on, until I unlock some more things.

Translations are all fudged up. Unhappy Angel > Dejected Angel. Traitor Jack Knife > Betrayal Jack Knife. 13 Devils > 13 Ogre Military Officer what?! Jintei sounds better than Speed King atleast...
And yes it is 1242 miles, just convert 2000 kilometers to miles... its actually 1242.75 (rounded) miles, so maybe you didnt finish the last few decimals, right? ;)

Ok, in the engine swap area does it give you engine codes? like 13bt/2 or 2JZ-GTE or does it just said Turbo Inline 6? shitfuck, i want a RB26Powered 240Z!

Mustard Yellow Mustang w/ c/f hood, no spoiler turbo engine swap 700hp.

It's not the best car, but it had the most miles out of my other cars.

Side note: So close to beating this game...I need to find Cram Instructor, Phantom Spectacle, and I'm not gonna buy a gameshark just to find Whirlwind Fanfare(Action Replay comes close, but misses by the extra $9cp.). I can only imagine what TXR4 will be like...(listens for the MCR GT-R) :uhoh:

Okay, so there is another option, the code breaker, besides the game shark version 2. You recommend the gameshark version 2 over the code breaker? I've heard of the code breaker, never known anyone with it. Nver really checked pricing on either of them. Which one is would have more use with other games, is more versitile, etc? I feel dumb asking, but I've never looked into these type of prodcuts. I hate cheating, so it was always kind of pointless. I've know several people with gamesharks over the years, though never really asked much about what they thought of it, since I don't use that type of device when I play games. I might make an execption in this case eventaully though, since that's the only way to pass the game. Things have come a long way since the old days of the game genie and the 8-bit NES haven't they, lol.

Okay, I know the code breaker is easy to find, the gameshark is too. Here is my question. The Gameshark Version 2 is not made anymore. Now it's the Gameshark2 Version 3. Apparently they can't even order the version 2 now. So my only way of finding that is going to go to a place like game crazy, etc...that sells used games. So, does the version 3 gameshark work also, or just the version 2 gameshark. You said the codebreaker works too, but everyone seems to recommend toe gameshark v.2, which isn't abvailable new now, now it's the v.3. I don't want to go and spend the money on the new one (v.3), only to find out it doesn't work also for the purpose we are using it for.

I've found it at the local Wal-Mart and Best Buy here in Waco TX. I was looking for Ver.3 and could only find Ver2. But I already had one, so I did a search for some Ver2 codes.

After you beat the game (legit, not beating either, just finishing atleast 95%), how much money did you have? I had about 5 mil, which is enough to race the Exoitc Butterfly dude, but far from 100

I haven't gotten that far yet, I am just trying to figure out what is needed to race her before I get that far. I got discourged after I learned of the cp problem and put the game down for awhile...It kind of sucks, like I said, I can only find the GS2 Version 3, not Version 2...I've found the code breaker, but apparently I need the version 2 GS2. So there isn't a money cheat? I have to use the GS to race someone else to get the 10cp...does the GS cheat basically erase the cap limit on the CP you can earn, so you can earn the extra cp by racing or selling something, and actually keep the CP due to the lifting of the "cap restriction?"

Nope, the cap isn't there until you save. You can sell buy do whatever, but as soon as you save, its gone to 99,999,990. You cant keep it, but itll be there long enough for you to beat Windy Fanfare, then you hit Wangan and find the final boss, #600 (coooool) :D No money cheat
somebody did some calculations and said it would take 8 years of non stop playing to get to 100,000,000CP legit :p

Yea, and that kind of sucks. It ruined a perfectly good game. The game's still fun, but it sucks, knowing there is no way to beat it without cheating. Even then, I bet there are plenty of people who have no clue how to beat it, even cheating...oh well, I guess that's what you get for $20.

Yea, dispite the fact you have to cheat to beat it, the game kicks ass for $20...Although once I managed to find Metriod Prime for thr GC at a store new for $10 on clearence...that was a pretty killer deal itself, lol. But yea, the TXR games kick ass for $20.

TXR3 is a great game,i have 5 cars,480 hp White supra,Gt40 630hp blacked out,Gemballa porsh,240z,and my main car a red R32 with a R34 motor in its real quick :D

I have TXR Zero, TXR3, TXR Drift, TXR Drift2, and Import tuner challenge.

TXR3 is my favorite PS2 game.
What really got me into playing it (after I already bought it >.< ) was this youtube series. (I litterally sat and watched the entire thing...:runaround: )

Any latest updates that we have after this game? I have Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift 2 on my Playstation 2 and I haven't heard from the company regarding the next sequel.
