2000 tail light install

ok so i am trying to install some new tail lights in my sisters 2000 eclipse GT and i have no idea what to do. the tiny little openings to change the bulbs is not big enough to put my had and a wrench through to take the old one off let alone trying to put a new one on there. any info or a like to a how- would be great thanks!!
