2000 740iL Sport Pkg

How do I know if a 2000 740iL has a Sport Pkg.?

I think that the sport pakage adds a sport suspension, 19" wheels, 3 spoke steering wheel, and Pearl leather. That is what it is for the 745, but i am not sure about the 740, though.

It will have 18" M parallel wheels and Shadowline trim- (blacked out chrome). Other than that any color combination and NO sport suspension or upgrades. Only the 740i will have sports tranny,rearend,suspension and steering wheel.

Nice ride ibew595! I think the shadowline trim really makes a difference.

I'm doing my homework on the 740's too, so I don't have any insight to add, but I did want to say hi and give a thumbs up to the '78 TA. I had a '78 Macho TA #86, but had to let it go and my best bud from HS had a '78 TA 403ci when we were in HS and boy was that car a blast. Hey Kevin, we're neighbors.

I believe they also have special seats with a section that can extend under your hamstrings and a little more on the sides as well.

Ahh, those would be the sport, 16(?) way adjustable seats. That would be the thigh support and the top of the seat move for shoulder support.
