changing bulb in 3rd brake light

i have a 1994 grand am and the 3rd brake light is out. what is the secret on removing the cover to replace the bulb? thanks......

I believe there are two clips that hold it up on the roof if I am not mistaken. It should just pull down. Before you go ripping it off the roof look at the cover and see if there are two small round plastic covers ( about the size of a button) If you see them pry them out and there will be two screws under them. If you don't see that, just give it a tug. I've replaced that light before on my friends car and I don't remember how it was kept in place. Hopefully this will help with the replacement of the bulbs.
