I have a 95 with the same problem. Had it checked, replaced 1 wheel sensor cost over $250.00 light came back on the same day I took it home.Took it back now dealer says needs new EBCM cost over $855.00!! Now I drive around with non ABS brakes. I did e-mail 1 of the moderators of this forum over 2 weeks ago with no reply so your chances of getting help here are slim. Good luck

Without any codes it is hard to help you! But if the light does not come on as soon as you start it would suggest that your wheel speed sensors are not at fault since the EMTC checks them on key on.
And gserve I hope you didn't send me an email. It is awful hard answering all the PM messages I get let alone the email. I usually check my email once a week but with the holidays I have been too busy to do it all. On top of the emails and PM's I still have to do the mod job here and several other forums.

Flatrater, Yeah it was you that I e-mailed. I am just frustrated because I bring the car to a GM dealership and pay $66.00 per hour to trouble shoot the ABS light. The tech says that the trouble codes for a speed sensor so I have it replaced and the car is home less than an hour and comes back on. So I bring it back they scan it again and now say its the EBCM. I mean did they just guess the first time? I don't believe in trial and error when it comes to my wallet. I don't mind paying for the proper diagnoses and fixing it right the first time. I thank you for letting me vent.
