it is 3:45am here in Pennsylvania, my thermometer is at 1.8 degrees.

this is rediculous. I've got to go to work in an hour. I work outside about 70% of my day.

It is too cold!! In Timmins, Ontario, it was minus 39 last night. C. or F. doesn't matter when its that cold!!
Timmins is Shania Twain's hometown, no wonder she moved to Nashville.

At that temperature, the skidoo won't start without ether ('starting fluid') and the sled dogs refuse to step outside!!

yep. minus 32 degrees C here in Caledon Ontario yesterday. today it's up to a "balmy" -11. was so cold yesterday that there was frost on the INSIDE of all the windows of my car. had to do a double scraping, in and out, in order to be able to see, and had to let her warm up for 25 minutes just to have some semblance of heat.

-11 is like t-shirt weather, :grinno: But yeah I think anybody on the northeastern part of North America is feeling this fuckin' cold snap 2 nights ago I looks at the themometer it was near -40 that's that kinda weather you have to wear somewhat baggier pants that normal since that fly will freeze and your balls will retreat back into your gut faster than you can say " My Nipples Now Cut Glass".

Sure, the cars hate the really cold weather, but the snowmobiles love it.
For mine, the colder the better, once its running. I suspect its related to the density of the air and firmness of the snow.
Too bad anything above 20 mph freezes all the wrong body parts solid.

Ok, i figured it out. When my friends and me were skiing, actaully going down hill = -67 F (-55 C). So, yeah... it was farking cold. Colder than cold. The kind of thing that literally puts a chill down your spine, especailly if you think about being stuck out there in a t-shirt and jeans. ohh... chill...

Okay, as I am sitting here freezing my bag off, I must remember that winter keeps the poisonous snakes, really big poisonous insects down and curbs malaria.
Also we get to ride some really wicked snowmobiles.
Its perfectly legal to go at top speed, ie 110 mph across a frozen lake around here.
Besides, my buddys Skidoo MXZ triple (with studs in the track) is the fastest accelerating thing I have ever been on, faster than any motorcycle and a lot faster than any lame ass Civic.
There are benefits to the cold......

Im not liking this cold one bit, i work at a gas station and it barely seems to get above 20 degrees now a days. Atleast our little booths have heaters and such, but we r constantly busy and i rarely get a chance to enjoy the warmth. I live in NJ and we just got hit with a couple of inches of snow and im goin to work

I just cant wait until spring time
