I was just wondering if it was possible to clean the fuel injectors. I was bored one day and decided to take one off.. Very easy... had black stuff all over the bottom end of it. Just wiped it off but I would like to know if it is possible to clean it internally? My engine now has 101,000. Damn... I bought it with 76,000 and in a year I now have 101,000. Do I drive too much? :evillol:

add some fuel injector cleaner to ur gas next time u fill it up.....but if they are really clogged, u have to take it to a shop and have someone do it

but yes, there are places who sonic clean and adjust injectors, I plan to have this done on the b18's injectors before i do the install. i had it done to the injectors on my race car and they cleaned/blueprinted the injectors then gave then back all neatly packeaged and looking like new along with flow sheets for each one... it was really cool

Fuel injector cleaner works to an extent if they are severely clogged you might need new ones

I had the injectors cleaned on my last car. Apparently they were pretty clogged (my car had a pretty hard life thanks to the previous owner). The car didn’t feel quite as sluggish when they were done.
