when i was changing my spark plugs one of them had a lot of oil on them. what does that mean and is it hard to fix?

hopefully, it either got on it whben you took it out, or its not oil. if it is oil, it means one of many bad things:
worn pistons allowing oil past the rings(unlikely)
bad seal somewhere in the head.

Where was the oil? Top or bottom? If bottom, what tibby01 posted. If top, spark plug grommets and/or tube seals need to be replaced. Grommets are simple, tube seals are a bit more involved(required removing the rocker assy./valve adjustment)

the oil was all over the tip and threads of the plug.

All over the tip of the electrode end or the top end that the plug wire attaches to?
