Ok, if I went with a b16a head, would it matter if the head were OBDII? I have a 95 LS, which is OBDI, but if I got an OBDI VTEC distributor, all I would need is an OBDI p72 ecu right? Would it throw check engine lights?

It should be fine, it doesn't matter what OBD the head is, as long as you have the same OBD distributor and injectors as the OBD of your car. You'll also need the LS/VTEC conversion subharness kit from Hasport. It should be $75. Hope this helps..

Does anyone know if this setup would be emissions legal in CA?
