How does the whole front-clip conversion work-? I have a '93 240sx Coupe and I want an S13 SILVIA front-end. How do they do this conversion-? Is the frame cut then the Silvia clip welded into place-? Or do they just exchange panels and lighting-??? I figured the body is more or less the same.
I found a more or less, nice looking S13 Silvia Clip for $900... :naughty:
I know this may seem a little retarded of a question... but I'm expanding my mind to newer, better things, i.e. SR20's and Silvia Front Clips. Help me out guys-!

I think what you mean is a S13 front end conversion. A front clip is a car from the dash forward. If you want to turn your car into an S13 Silvia, this topic is entireley covered in the FAQ. The problem is, your car will never actually be a Silvia, just a kind of close replica. But if you still wanna do it, read the FAQ.

do not even TRY to cut the frame and weld the new clip into place. that's a BAAD idea. it will drastically bring down the structural integrity of your car once done and hell i don't even think it'd be legal.

if you want the body panels and lighting, it's a direct swap over. un-bolt the old, bolt on the new. that's it.

engine's the same. takes longer, but it's very easy to put into the car since it's basically the same chassis.
