first of all, GXL and Turbo models are the only FC's with AAS right?

http://www.planetperformance.com/vehicle.search/?productID=336962

these break pads say they only work with models with Auto Adjustable Suspension, what makes them not fit normal suspension? would it be hard to make them fit a model without AAS?

AAS never came on any of the Turbo cars..

Mazda knew it was junk and didn't want the Loyal turbo model purchasers to suffer with it..

IF you have it, take the actuators and switch out, and throw them in the woods... replace your dampers with TEIN HE, or HA coil-overs...

Igor's Group-buy is really a good deal!!!

Anyway,
TO now answer your question..

Just Buy Hawk HP+ pads..

Trust me, you'll thank me later..

Honestly, I would try to find a vert or TII in a junkyard... and steal their rear-brake conversion parts, install them on your car, then replace the pads in the process...

what's so great about the TII and vert rear brakes?

what's so great about the TII and vert rear brakes?

they are better than the 86-88 standard brakes..

By getting parts from the TII or vert you know you are getting the good parts... especially if you do not know what to look for in the specific part.. KNowing the car is TII or vert is alot easier than actually trying to determine which is which when you are in a junkyard.

but my car is a 91, not an 86-88, so my rotors would be the good ones wouldn't they?

and you think Hawk bads are better than Endless pads? eh... not so sure about that one, but they are alot cheaper, and sense I'm poor I'll probably end up getting those anyways

how exactly can I figure out if I have AAS, I'm pretty sure I don't, but I wanna be positive

yes you would have the good rear brakes.

How can you possibly think that endless pads are better than Hawk?

Just because something is "JDM
Doesn't automatically mean it is the best possible product..

Ask the rear racers out there what brake pads they use on track.. the answer you will hear most often is Hawk, then Carbotech Panthers.

If you go with the hawk pads DO NOT get any compound more agressive than the HP+. the hawk Black and Blue compounds are far too aggressive for street use... and will take forever to warm up enough to be in their operating heat range.

I think I'm gonna end up going with the Hawk Ferro Carbon Disc Pads mostly because the full set of 4 is like $50 less than just the rear endless brakes

All the pads you are talking about SUCK!!! Go to www.eurobraketech.com and check out Rofren Disc Brake Pads. They are far superior and less expensive, call the 866 toll free number and ask for David he will take care of you!!

probably not that great, I mean since they had to say the other pads suck. if those pads were so good they could have just said these pads are way better, and cheaper too

They are inexpensive and will outperform all the pads you are considering!! Sorry for the negative tone. You will love the performance and feel of these pads. What's even better is that they have very low dust and no squealing!!
