Mini Filter

Hey everyone, getin ready for x-mas and my little sis got me this mini air filter but i dont know if it will fit my p11, actualy i dont even know what its for. I´ve seen them on several cars i think on the manyfold but what do they really do??

crankcase vent.

I've seen these things. Looks like a small tuna can w/ a nipple. I'm not sure if it's the same thing U have, but I think it's an air filter for the carb. I'm not sure if they work (or if they're legal).

Could it be a breather. If it is then is just helps the engine breathe a little better.

Its a crank case breather... There should be a little hose going from the intake pipe to the VC, It should go where I circled...
