how to remove air cleaner to remove battery

1998 Chevy Lunina 4-door sedan - Need to replace the battery. Got the washer fluid tank and bracket removed, but I'm having trouble getting the battery hold down bracket out. It is blocked by the air cleaner assy. How is that attached? I can't see anything holding it, yet it doesn't move much. Got to be a better design, but then how often should you have to replace a battery! :banghead:

I have a '96, and there's a bolt that holds the airbox secure. I believe it's between the airbox and the battery. If there's nothing holding the airbox, what you have to do is push the airbox back real hard to pop the intake out from the front of the car.

What I've been doing is, when I need to take the airbox out of the car, I'll disconnect the hose going from the rear of the airbox to the throttle body. That'll allow the airbox to be come out.
