hey. that type r i was looking at fell through. and after doing some research, i learned that the ls is best for turbo. and then i found this.....

this is a 99 adriatic blue pearl integra ls TURBO! OVER $10,000 HAS BEEN PUT INTO THIS CAR! i have to go to school and need money, so unfortunately i have to sell my baby. heres a list of modifications: drag gen III turbo kit with blitz BOV and tial wastegate, tuned with hondata s200,launch control, full throttle shift,rc 440cc injectors, skunk 2 intake manifold, act XCT clutch, act aluminum flywheel, nex ss full suspension coilovers, thermal stainless steel 3" cat back exhaust, vibrant 3" cat, autometer boost and egt guages in guage bezel,skunk2 short shifter with knob, rota 15" black slipstream wheels,205/50 falken azenis tires, type r wing, blitz turbo timer, viper alarm system, smoked headlights, type r style seats, tinted windows. all parts are brand new and have been on for less than 1500 miles, and installed professionally.
the wheels and tires have only been on for less than 1000. the car has recently been tuned to 10psi with the above mentioned items resulting in 240 wheel horsepower and 200 lb/ft of torque (rouphly 275hp and 230lb/ft tq. at the crank) this car can even be tuned again to up to 12psi on stock internals due to the low compression (9.2:1) and strong engine internals in the ls motor, resulting anywhere from 250-300+ hp to the wheels!!! this car has never been taken to the track and has never been abused. this car is my baby and i never mistreated it. this car will do the quarter mile in an estimated time of 12.9-13.3 depending on the driver. $16000 OBO.

i think i may have found a pretty good car. i am looking at it tommorrow and i was wondering what type of things i need to look for. i have never bought a turboed car and know enough about n/a cars. he says 16000 obo, what do you think he'll take? i dont want to low ball him or nothing. what do you think would be fair for both of us?

I cant see that car hitting 12s. How many miles on it? Id ask maybe 14-15, but it depends on miles. I hope he didnt pay over $10,000 for those mods, it sounds a little high. But it seems like a nice car none the less.

i think he said 43500 miles. i am guessing the mods he put in the ad totals around 7000. there may be more that he forgot to put on though.

take the Intake tube o0ff and look for metal shavings. ayso, see if the oil is clean, he might be trying to hide something. ayso check the tranny fluid. If he really needs the money, then why did he just put new tires on it?? ask questions....

in my opinion...i think its a little too high, $16,000?!?! its a bit too much i think. its like he wanna makes money out of the mods. :2cents:

Host them on your gallery here on AF. When you post a reply look under the box you are typing in and you will see a link that says "You may upload images to your personal photo gallery. " and it has a place for you to click on and it will take you to where you need to go.
P.S it is under the box that you type in for a advanced reply, not the quick reply option.

I'd get at least compression numbers on that engine before you drive it off. Leakdown numbers also, if you can. 10psi on an LS is a little high without building the bottom end. It's a little strange he put money into everything except the block.

where do i get those numbers from? should he have them from when he had all that stuff installed and dynoed? or will i have to take it somewhere and pay to have that done?

You can get a compression tester at any autoparts store for $20. Leakdown is a little more involved. You'd probably have to take it to a shop.

i agree u should get the tests done, but 10 psi isn't unheard of on a stock ls bottom end.

they're known to handle 10-12 daily and withstand the boost, but i do agree its a bit odd that he would spend all that money on other things w/ out building it at all.

be cautious bout this one buddy, if its already turbo'd, then it's prolly already been beaten to death.
