Hello All,
I got Eighty eight LSS 1996. In cold weather I have to press very hard the shift stick button to be able to shift from "P". When I turn off the engine I can not rotate the key back to the "OFF" position and have to leave the key in the ignition. Searching the forum did not yield any results. Any ideas. Thanks

You might want check out your lock cylinder or ignition switch as they may need replacing.

Thanks for the reply it gave me a hint. I used some WD40 around the shift stick button and around the stick. Also, from the little hole closer to the floor. And, around the key cylinder. I also used a hair dryer to heat up both in between the sprays. Now, both work just fine. I noticed that the key cyliner is a bit loose. So, once the cold wave is gone, I probably should replace the key cylinder before it quits for good.
Thanks,
