i need someone to explain:
x pipes/h pipes and difference i know what they look like.
what make the exaust sound the way it does (loud, rough sounding ect)

you can get loud by going with headers and performance mufflers. and as far as rough sounding or a rough idle that comes from your cam, unless you are a glasspack fan. glasspacks can sound decently rough but not like a nice cam, besides they sound like shit when you give it some gas. but to get down to the point on h-pipe vs. x-pipe, typically an x-pipe will give you more torque then an h-pipe but on some vehicles ground clearance is an issue for dual exhaust. its a known fact that both methods distibute your exhaust more evenly, but i'd say h-pipes are more common.

An Xpipe will typically give a car a "higher" more shrill sounding exhaust (not sure how to explain it?).Xpipes seem to generate a little more power and torque but personally,I do not like the sound they give off as much and prefer the H pipe in that regard.
