Sentra clock light

The background light on my 2001 Sentra CD player/clock has gone out. All other dash lights work properly.

Is there a fuse for only the clock light or is this likely a blown bulb? Is it something I can replace myself.

first check fuses,then bulbs,then your in deeper trouble..

I have the same problem on my 02 sentra. Did you get it fixed?

Usually its just a busted bulb. The bulb is a wedge type, similar to those in your parklight or sidemarkers only smaller and thinner.

It is an easy task to do, if you have experience in taking out/opening up the gauges.

i think the bulbs are 194? not 100% sure tho

The other night the light worked for a little while, so I suspect the bulb isn't blown afterall, but just is loose. I guess the next step is figuring out how to get the thing out to tighten or replace.
