Help me please

I have a 1995 chevy cavalier. I believe i have major electrical problems . I dont know much about cars but i hoping someone would lead me in the right direction before i put it in the shop. I can only can tell what my car is doing when i drive it . First after i drive it for about 30 minutes once i get to a stop sign it will die. sometimes it will restart easily sometimes i have to sit and wait awhile before it starts again. Also while im driving things like the inside will blink on and off the outside like might blink the door bell will start beeping. I also know that the sensor to the fan is not plug in that is the only way it will come on. Ive only had the car for a year it was given to me by a family member but before they gave it to me someone was using it that didnt not really take care of the car so its hard to say what they did to the car. Please someone help me
