:banghead: Please say im not alone...I replaced my altinator and battery....started up great, went to shut it off after driving, turned ignition to off, pulled the key out, and the car is still running. Whats up with that? More important why does the car still run when the ignition harness is unplugged? HELP!!! Pulled ignitor fuse to turn car off, still have constant power to the power side of the coil.

Did this happen right after changing the alternator? If so then I would take it back and tell them you wnat a new one because you think that the Dode Assembly is defective. There is a white wire that attaches to the Alternator, take this wire off and see if that kills the car, if that does not work the disconnect the plug from the alternator and see if that does the trick. If so then you need to take the alternator back and get a replacement.
