How to drive an auto? If you cant drive an auto you shouldnt be driving!

well ok how to race a auto... u cant just floor it... u have to know how to make it shift at the right RPMs past a certain amount of RPMs u loose alot of torque and power also u have to make it shift without loosing alot of RPMs its actual pretty hard sometimes... and launching it is harder if u just floor it u dont get the instant power and if u drop the clutch (yes autos do have clutches but its hard on the tranny to make them dump it) and floor it u just burn out and roast the road... im proud to say i can perfectly launch and accelerate and i almost have making it shift right down...

i could take a 2G RS/GS manual too

I know how to drive my car, and i KNOW a GT or GTS 3G would kill you...i dont know why you post here

and you are bragging about beating a lancer. lets give you a cookie. the lancer ralliart is rated at 162hp at the crank. so thats what, about 130-140 to the wheels. not something to brag about. its got 2hp and 2ft/lb of torque more than the regular lancer. so basically you beat a regular lancer. its got less horsepower and torque than a Sentra SE-R Spec V and i can dog one of those. so congrats on you kill buddy

yah dude! but make sure you don't mess up that hair-dryer induction setup, because then you'll just be blowing hot air on the engine and drying it out...if it dries out it won't start :smokin:

Yah you have a post in the street racing forums about that, its good to see you're proud of beating what is probably the 2nd slowest v6 coupe sold on the market these days. Most cars can take an eclipse gt but at least we aren't below v6 stangs or most hondas.

dude, just try looking up parts for a 300ZX TT i think it was almost 500$ for just a downpipe and pretty darn expensive for intake and junk blows eclipse prices out the water, of course...a Z blows an eclipse out of the water regardless

Im trying to look for an intake for my car, and I cant find nothing that is under 300$ bucks.. I cannot afford that!! What is wrong with these ppl?? Will the prices ever drop? how does this work out or what? Im hopping they drop hard and fast over the summer or something.

for an intake, there are 100's of online stores that sell Injen and AEM. i would recommend Injen just from experience

where are you buying these from?? nopi has them for like $212. im sure if you look around, you probably could find them cheaper. check out the group buy section at www.club3g.com. it has some great deals most of the time

tip #1- dont waste your hard earned money! to be quite frank, and i think most people will agree, the intake doesnt really do all that much for the 3G. especially for 200 bucks. if you really wanted an intake, i would say a $50 one from ebay. but your buying something that probably wont fit right or have some other kind of flaw. just keep your money.

yes i know what your mods are. i know that you have a smaller pulley which allows you to run more boost. what are you putting to the wheels? about 270hp or so?

i wouldnt say that it does nothing for the car. it does give you alot better gas mileage. i have gotten an extra 70miles to the tank since ive put mine on. so over a couple of months, it could pay for itself. it also makes the engine bay look nicer. as for performance, i can tell a little bit more power. when i was stock, if i cruised at 3000rpms in first gear and then stepped on the gas, i would just go. now with the intake on, i spin tires. to me, that makes me believe it has put more power to the ground
